Mysterious Beauty started as a personal site of mine in November 2003. After i visited Day Dream Graphics, i was inspired by the designs, avatars and layouts submitted to the site by different people. I changed my personal site to my graphics site after that.

   The idea of the name came from a picture of Full Moon wo Sagashite that i used to make the first layout of Mysterious Beauty. I asked my friends if the name sounds ok and they said it totally goes with the picture so the site was named after that.

   In early 2003, i completely knew nothing about web design until i took both Computer Science and Computer Engineering. The first layout of Mysterious Beauty was poorly done with ACDSee graphics software installed on my brother's computer. My uncle - a computer programmer bought Photoshop 7.0 and I asked him to install it into my computer.

   At first, i did not know how to make graphics with it. Then i searched for Photoshop tutorials online and that was why my skills got better. I kept making avatars, buttons, blinkies, layouts, and other graphics for Mysterious Beauty.

   Like other started sites, my first host was Geocities. When i was tired of the ads on the website, i asked to be hosted by a domain listed at Pick Me! Mysterious Beauty was hosted there for about a year. Everything was turning good and Mysterious Beauty was being noticed among people who were looking for free graphics.

   Sadly, the host went off for quite a long time when Mysterious Beauty started to be noticed. After that, i bought my own domain and i move the graphics site there. When the domain expired, Mysterious Beauty was hosted by Hushed Whispers and then their domain got expired and it was hosted by Branwen.net. Overall, the site had to switch hosts several time and that was a big disadvantage for it.

   A new chapter has begun for Mysterious Beauty in July 22, 2005. It was when the domain for the graphics site was purchased. Everything was changed and organized all over again. Mysterious Beauty is still working on its goal, which is making anime/manga graphics and layouts for people who need them. Let's just hope that the site will become better and more popular and that it will not be closed down any time soon in the future! :)
